I looked back into my family history , as I understood it half my family were Welsh Protestant , the other half Irish Catholic. This was not the case, half my family were Jewish and had changed their name to cover their religious back ground. The same had happened to my wife and to a friend of mine. I then thought about the times people are refused entry into countries presently, but what if in the future you are refused because of your religion or medical history and not just in the present but the whole of your families past ?
The film is that meeting, a faceless bureaucrat and a man just trying to get a passport.
